Pocatello Regional Airport Master Plan Update
About Our Airport Master Plan
An Airport Master Plan is a comprehensive study of an airport that describes short-, medium-, and long-term development plans needed to support future aviation demand. The end result of the process will be a well-defined roadmap for the next twenty years of airport improvements at PIH.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) asks airports to develop master plans and update them around every ten years. The PIH master plan was last updated in 2012. The PIH master plan update is 100 percent funded by federal grant dollars, and no state or local funds are being used for this project.
In addition to keeping the airport in compliance with the FAA, the PIH master plan update process is the community’s opportunity to provide input that helps guide the future of Pocatello Regional Airport. Feedback is welcomed. The airport will hold several public meetings during the update process, and written comments will be accepted both in person and via the comment box below.
