Congratulations to January’s gift basket winner – Marti Brockway.
Marti, from Idaho Falls, has learned the secret about “Flying Pocatello” – it can save you money! Marti was at the airport picking up her daughter, who was flying home for Christmas from college in St. George, when she dropped her entry into the drawing box. Marti said that she really likes the Pocatello Regional Airport and drives down from Idaho Falls because of the “large savings in airfare cost.” She and her daughter enjoy the nice environment and amenities at Pocatello such as the media center and Kizuna Garden (her daughter is studying Japanese and really enjoyed reading the haiku printed in Kanji in the garden). Marti said that since her daughter is only a Freshman, she plans to make several more trips to the Pocatello Regional Airport over the coming years and is glad that there is a nice, affordable airport close to home since the drive to Salt Lake is too long and hard for her.
Cost savings, great amenities, and a friendly atmosphere are part of what makes Pocatello Regional Airport one of the best airports you’ll find anywhere. (We were recently ranked 6th best airport in the nation by a major travel website.) With free Wi-Fi, a media center, free shoeshine stand, filtered water bottle refill station, and even complimentary coffee, Pocatello will feel like no other airport you’ve ever used.
Remember: Always check fares first with a local travel agent. (You can see a list here.) It often pays to “Fly Pocatello.”
You can enter to win a monthly gift basket from local merchants any time you visit Pocatello Regional Airport. Visitors can drop their business cards or an available entry form into the entry box for a chance to win a monthly gift basket from the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce, and all monthly contestants are automatically entered into a quarterly drawing for two round-trip tickets from Pocatello to Salt Lake. It’s just our way of saying “Thanks” for being part of our community and supporting your local airport.
